Kavasu is built on a foundation of truth, fairness, and respect. These guidelines ensure our community remains a trusted space for independent journalism.
At Kavasu, we believe that the future of journalism belongs to independent creators who seek the truth, remain non-partisan, avoid agendas, and work on stories they care about. Every member of our community — creators and followers alike — plays a role in upholding these values.
Kavasu exists to deliver truthful, fact-based news. All content shared on the platform should be grounded in verifiable facts and honest reporting. Creators must make reasonable efforts to verify information before publishing. Speculation should be clearly labeled as such, and corrections should be issued promptly when errors are discovered.
We are not a platform for partisan advocacy. Creators are expected to present news without political bias or ideological slant. Even when covering contentious topics, the goal is to inform — not to persuade. Followers should be able to trust that the content they consume is not designed to push an agenda.
Our community thrives on constructive dialogue. Whether you're a creator or a follower, interactions on Kavasu should be respectful and civil. The following are not tolerated:
Deliberately spreading false information undermines the trust our community depends on. Content that is knowingly false, manipulated, or designed to mislead will be removed. This includes doctored media, fabricated quotes, and conspiracy theories presented as fact.
Respect the work of others. Always attribute sources, cite references, and only use content you have the right to use. Creators should familiarize themselves with fair use principles under copyright law and ensure they are not plagiarizing or misrepresenting others' work as their own.
Kavasu is a platform for meaningful journalism, not spam. Repeated posting of the same content, irrelevant self-promotion in comments, or attempts to game the platform's systems are prohibited. Creators are encouraged to promote their work — but authentically and within appropriate contexts.
News often involves difficult subjects. When covering sensitive topics — violence, tragedy, conflict — creators should exercise editorial judgment and treat subjects with dignity. Graphic content should include appropriate warnings. Exploitative or gratuitously violent content is not permitted.
Content that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to authorities. When minors appear in news coverage, their privacy and safety must be prioritized.
Content that promotes, facilitates, or depicts illegal activity is not allowed. This includes but is not limited to: incitement to violence, terrorism, drug trafficking, fraud, and any activity that violates local, state, or federal law.
Creators should be transparent about their methods, sources, and any potential conflicts of interest. If you make a mistake, own it and correct it. Accountability builds the trust that sets Kavasu apart from legacy platforms.
Violations of these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent bans depending on severity. We review reports carefully and aim to be fair and consistent in our enforcement. If you believe content violates these guidelines, please report it — our moderation team will review it promptly.
